Rose Marie Koperski, 79, of Central City, formerly of Farwell, died Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Azria Health Broadwell in Grand Island.
Private family services have been held.
Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.
Rose was born on Sept. 7, 1940, at Clarks, the daughter of Edward H. and Clara B. (Siemek) Zelazny. She attended Clarks Public Schools and graduated from Clarks High School.
After graduation she moved to Scottsbluff to work. She was united in marriage to Herman Eugene Bruntz in June 1960 at Scottsbluff. The couple lived in Grand Island and had two daughters, Deborah and Diane. Mr. Bruntz died Sept. 6, 1971.
She was united in marriage to Henry J. Koperski on Nov. 16, 1974, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Grand Island. The couple lived and farmed near Farwell for many years. Mr. Koperski died July 9, 2019.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah West of Plattsmouth and Diane Bruntz of Central City; three grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Bernard Urkoski of Omaha and Joan and Tony Oberhouser of Bellevue.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son-in-law, George West; and grandson, Tim Bruntz.
