Rodney R. Moraczewski, 54, of Loup City, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Hospice with Heart in Glenwood, Iowa.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City. The Rev. Marty Egging will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City.
Visitation will be Monday from 9 a.m. until service time, with a 9:30 a.m. Rosary.
Peters Funeral Home of Loup City is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Moraczewski was born on Dec. 24, 1960, at Loup City, the son of Rudolph and Shirley (Silver) Moraczewski.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Moraczewski of Loup City; and one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Kenneth Mostek of Ashton.
He is also survived by a nephew, Seth Mostek and his wife, Bridget of Kearney; and a niece, Keri Mostek of Ashton.
Rodney attended Loup City Public School and was a 1979 graduate of Loup City High School.
Rodney farmed with his father until 1994. He then was employed at various factory jobs in Kearney and Grand Island.
He was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City.
He enjoyed music, traveling and computers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph; and a sister, Jacqueline.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
