Henrietta M. Cyboron, 91, of St. Paul, formerly of Boelus, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at CHI Health Saint Francis in Grand Island.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Richard L. Piontkowski will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Rockville.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Peters Funeral Home in St. Paul.
Mrs. Cyboron was born on Oct. 20, 1925, on a farm north Boelus, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Sebold) Hilmer. She attended country school north of town and graduated from Boelus High School.
She was united in marriage to Raymond B. Cyboron of Nov. 5, 1946, in Farwell. The couple farmed in the Boelus area and raised seven children. In 1982, they moved into Boelus. She cooked at the Golden Nugget steakhouse and also at the Centura Elementary School in Boelus.
Raymond died on Oct. 3, 1999 and she continued to live in Boelus until 2012, when she moved to the Matelyn Retirement Community in St. Paul.
Henrietta was a member of the former St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockville, St. Mary's Council of Catholic Women, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ravenna and the Boelus Friendship Club.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, cooking, playing cards, bingo and going to her grandchildren's activities.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Gordon Cyboron of Ravenna, Dennis Cyboron of Boelus, Glenda Cyboron of Grand Island, Gladys and Clint Covey of Lakeville, MN, Donna Nielsen of St. Paul, Dan and Kim Cyboron of Ravenna and Dorothy and Doran Moss of Cairo; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Raymond, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Henry Hilmer; two sisters, Evelina and Alice Hilmer; one son-in-law, Mark Nielsen; one grandson, Jacob Moss; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
