Gary G. Morse

Gary G. Morse, 80, of Grand Island, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Gary’s wishes were to be cremated and have no funeral service. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.

Gary was born on May 13, 1940, at St. Paul, the son of Clifford R. and Evelyn M. (Anderson) Morse.

He was united in marriage to Patricia A. “Pat” Svoboda on Oct. 15, 1960, in St. Paul.

Gary was a longtime route salesman for Old Home Bread.

He is survived by his children, Brenda Lieb of St. Paul, Keith Morse and Marleen Hingst of Omaha, and Rich and Sheila Morse of Kearney; six grandchildren, Dylan Lieb and Jaci Stanczyk of Ashton, Brady Morse, Carlie Morse, Ryan Morse, Jaiden Morse and Josie Morse, all of Kearney; ten great grandchildren; and the mother of his children and friend, Pat Morse of Kearney.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one great grandson.
