Donna M. Orellana, 84, of Collinsville, IL, formerly of St. Libory, died Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Peters Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Rev. Vince Parsons will officiate. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.
Visitation will be held one hour before time of services at the funeral home.
Donna was born on Dec. 1, 1938, at Mountain Home, AR, the daughter of Byron and Betsy Ann (Thomas) Ring. She grew up in Mountain Home where she attended school, she later moved with her family to Marshfield, MO where she continued her education.
She was united in marriage to Nathan K. Kleier on Nov. 17, 1957, in Marshfield, MO. The couple lived and worked in Missouri and later moved to Illinois. They later divorced and she and her children moved to Nebraska, first living in Lexington and later moving to St. Paul.
In 2004, she moved to St. Libory. She married Oscar Orellana on May 15, 2006, at Central City. The couple lived in St. Libory. Oscar died on Oct. 1, 2016. She continued to live in St. Libory until Feb. 2023, when she moved to Collinsville, where she lived the rest of life.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, gardening and loved to watch wrestling on TV.
She is survived by nine children, Rita Baker of Collinsville, IL, Dale Kleier of New Caney, TX, Lena Dvorak of Grand Island, Elaine Hill of Arcadia, Reba and Phil Zeller of Cairo, Vida Eliker of Oklahoma, Jackie and Mark Kowalski of Bradshaw, Byron and Natasha Kleier of Mesa, AZ and Perla Orellana of Grand Island; 30 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer Ring of Rogersville, MO and sister, Eva Kleier of Caseyville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Ethan Kleier; and brother, Calvin Ring.
