Charles E. "Chuck" Ryan

Charles A. “Chuck” Ryan, 76, of Elba, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at his home. Chuck chose to be cremated, with no services. Private inurnment will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Elba. Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family. Mr. Ryan was born on Oct. 25, 1942, at Detroit, Michigan, the son of Harold and Nona B. (Nauyoks) Ryan. He was united in marriage to Sabine R. “Pat” Kuszak on May 27, 1968, at Noel, Missouri. The couple first lived in Missouri where they worked as antique dealers for many years. In 1980 they moved to Dannebrog and in 1990 to Elba. Pat died on May 30, 2007, and Chuck continued to live in Elba the rest of his life. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Mary Ann McAden of Seabrook, New Hampshire; step-daughter & son-in-law, Patricia and Richard Zinge of Clearwater, FL; six grandchildren, Shannon and Trevor McAden, Ricky, Tony and Greg Zinge, and Pam Bloomgren; and one brother, Kevin Ellerman of Elba. In addition to his wife, Pat, he was preceded in death by his parents; and one half brother, Jim Doyl.
