Brian L. Jasnoch, 36, of Greenwood Village, CO, formerly of Loup City, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City. The Revs. Marty Egging and Richard Piontkowski will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, with a 6 p.m. vigil service.
Peters Funeral Home of Loup City is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Jasnoch was born on July 28, 1978, at Ord, the son of Donald L. and Patricia A. (Ksionzek) Jasnoch.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Patty and Tim Piontkowski of Loup City; sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Jeff Peterson of McCook; grandparents, Isabel Szatko of Clarks, Arlie Jasnoch of Grand Island, and Ron and Winona Piontkowski of Loup City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brian grew up in Loup City where he attended Loup City Public Schools and graduated from Loup City High School in 1997. He then attended Mid Plains Community College in McCook for two years and graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2003 with an Engineering Degree.
Brian then worked for Professional Service Industries in Lincoln, Omaha, Kansas City, Colorado Springs, Thornton and Dallas. In June 2013, he moved to Greenwood Village and began working for Terradyne of Denver, where he was employed until the time of his death.
Brian was a member of several professional engineering organizations, Sons of the American Legion of Loup City and Coloradans for Nebraska.
He was an avid sports lover and a big Husker and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed golfing, snowboarding, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clemence Ksionzek, Richard Jasnoch and Leo Szatko.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
