Arthur A. “Archie” Wojtalewicz, US Army Retired, 74, of St. Paul. He was born Aug. 6, 1949, at St. Paul, the son of Edwin J. and Delores M. (Olsufka) Wojtalewicz. He was dismissed with dignity, Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in Grand Island.
Celebration of Life Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024, at the St. Paul Civic Center. The Chaplain Sidney Bruggeman will offer words of comfort. Military honors will be provided by Carl Mogensen American Legion Post 119 of St. Paul and the United States Army Funeral Honors Team. A luncheon will also follow at the Civic Center.
Peters Funeral Home of St. Paul is assisting the family.
He is survived by his wife, Ute (Sandhoefer) Wojtalewicz; children, Diana Marie Andreasen of Council Bluffs, IA, Jennifer (William Stevens) Wojtalewicz of Polk, Dan (Melissa Butts) Wojtalewicz of Omaha and Raimond Wojtalewicz and fiancée, Nicholle Renshaw of Omaha; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Chris and Robert Pokorsky of Ashville, NC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cheryl Wojtalewicz of San Antonio, TX, Cliff and Nina Wojtalewicz of Norman, OK, Phil and Terri Wojtalewicz of Lansing, KS and Barb and Steve Linnemeyer of Grand Island; mother-in-law, Margot Mueller of Germany; sisters-in-law and spouses, Ilona and Barry Preattle of Niceville, FL and Claudia and Stefan Wagner of Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell Wojtalewicz; and granddaughter, Ashley.
